COVID-19 infection

From May 8, 2023, COVID-19 infection's classification of infectious diseases was changed to Class 5.
As a result, there have been no calls from public health centers to positive people.
Changes to Class 5 Infectious Diseases
・There are no restrictions on going out.
It is up to the individual to decide whether to refrain from going out.
・Out-of-pocket expenses are incurred for testing and treatment costs.
As with other diseases, except for some, insurance medical treatment is provided.
・There will be no phone calls from the public health center to positive people.
・Certificates of medical treatment for positive persons after Class 5 cannot be issued.
Measures against infectious diseases
Infectious disease measures are based on the voluntary judgment of citizens.
Please refer to the COVID-19 infection measures (for citizens) for details such as wearing and removing masks and keeping inspection kits.
