We started lighting up and you can enjoy it at night!

• Light-up period: From Thursday, February 1, Reiwa 6 to Thursday, March 28
• Light-up time: After sunset to 20:00
• Location: Konan Ward Office 1st Floor Kumin Hall

• Shooting from the ward office: Weekdays only 9:00-17:00
• Shooting from outside the ward office: Anytime OK

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the art workshop "Singing Colors / Ringinging Colors" was held under the clear blue sky. Thank you very much to everyone who came and cooperated in making the work.
The works created by artist Asae Soya and visitors will be exhibited at the ward office until the end of March 2024!

A large glass window is used as a canvas, and participants attach a colorful water-shaped sticker on a pattern made of polarizing film to create a "squealing color" like a large splash.
You can enter and leave the workshop during the opening hours.

■Participation procedure

1. Choose some water-shaped seals
2. Draw a large splash of water by adding the selected sticker on the design that has been pasted in advance.

Artist. He continues to work in both painting and installation. Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2006. 2001 "Showa Shell Sekiyu Contemporary Art Award" Grand Prix, 2002 "VOCA Exhibition 2002" VOCA Award (Grand Prix), 2013 "Yokohama Cultural Award Culture and Art Encouragement Award", "Kanagawa Cultural Award Future Award" and many others. In 2013, he held a solo exhibition "Sotani Asae Exhibition Sorairo" at Art Tower Mito, and a solo exhibition "Sotani Asae Exhibition and Kotoko Fuwari" at Spiral Garden in 2022. He has produced exhibitions and public art in Tokyo, New York, Basel, Xi'an, etc. In 2014, he stayed in New York as an overseas trainee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and in Basel as a creator of TOKAS bilateral exchange projects in 2018. A collection of works, "Sorairo Sotani", was published by Seigensha.
