1. It is a private road that is used as a road for local people to go to daily life, commuting, going to school, shopping, hospitals, meeting places, etc.
   In addition, it applies when the road connecting to the private road is already paved.
2. On private roads that wish to be maintained, there are no underground buried objects that hinder pavement work, and the upper slope (so-called cliffs) in contact with the private road is protected to the extent that pavement work is not hindered.
   In addition, we assume that appropriate sewer pipe is maintained in sewer treatment area.
3. We perform maintenance by private road maintenance subsidy and maintenance system, and approximately 10 years have passed, and private road which needs redevelopment is targeted.

A private road that is used by a large number of citizens and has the same function as a public road, and falls under one of the following:

1. Those with a width of 2.7 meters or more within a radius of 500 meters from the railway station building, ward office, district center, sports center, library, etc.
2. School routes newly designated with the establishment (relocation) of elementary and junior high schools
3. A private road where conditions are being improved on a private road during the procedure for transferring public roads. Please consult with Public Works Office about private roads that are being transferred to public roads.
