Overview
The burnable garbage from households in the city contains about 87,000 tons of food loss annually, which is about 23 kg per citizen per year. Food loss has caused significant environmental and economic losses, such as causing global warming, and it is necessary to utilize limited resources in a sustainable manner.
This time, we will invite Mr. Natsumi Okui, who is involved in the development of processed products to reduce food loss in the city and holding events to spread locally grown and consumed, as a lecturer to talk about his activities.
