August 27 [Serigaya district] Youth Instructor Rice Field Experience @ Maioka Park Vol.7

 The last day of summer vacation for elementary school students. The elementary school students who participated worked on making decorations for Scarecrow. In the rice field work, important draining work was performed for rice harvesting.
 For today's lunch, we ate soup using Maioka local vegetables in supply of hot meals (meaning a mixture of many ingredients) and red rice cooked in a kettle. Both the elementary school students and adults who participated were smiling at the taste! The juice made by more than the number of people was quickly eaten out, and was called by the next group that was too much made, and the children went to help with a bowl!

August 27 Kamiooka is hot! "Kamiooka Heat Festival" held

August 26 and 27 [Hino district] Hino residential area Neighborhood Association Wai Wai Summer Festival

 On the 27th, when I visited, the curtain opened with Soran dance by Hino Elementary School students, and it was crowded with many people. It was the first time in four years, and the Neighborhood Association and the Executive Committee had a lot of trouble until the event was held, but visitors such as Bon Odori and mock shops enjoyed it and it was a very exciting summer festival .

August 26 [Kamiooka district] Kamiooka Daiichi Neighborhood Associations Summer Festival Children's portable shrine Together!

 The Kamiooka Daiichi Neighborhood Associations Summer Festival was held at Kamiooka Higashi 1-chome Park for the first time in four years. The event was held mainly for children, and it was very impressive to see everyone carrying the children's portable shrine vigorously.

August 24 I can smile! "Oyako Concert" was held again this year! (Konan Ward Chief Children's Committee Liaison Committee)

 At the Konan Public Hall, a “Oyako Concert” hosted by the Chief Children's Committee (Junko Watanabe) was held. Last year, the capacity was increased from 220 to 300 this year, but the distribution of admission tickets was so popular that the distribution of admission tickets ended in 4 days.
 We welcomed the Strawberry Parfait, and it was a fun time for everyone to smile and smile. And the participants will receive a handmade maracas. We enjoyed the concert together.

August 22 “Konanrai Yume” Voluntary Product Sales Association @ Keikyu Department Store

 I visited a voluntary product sales event at Keikyu Department Store held for the first time in four years.

August 22 for the first time in four years! Summer Festival (intergenerational exchange) Bon Dance Festival @ Konan Fureai Park

 The Konan Ward Silver Club Federation hosted the Bon Dance Festival, sponsored by the Konan Ward Office and the Konan Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare.
 The summer festival, which many people, from children to seniors, were looking forward to, was enjoyed at Bon Odori, mock shops, and chats. The end ended with the two consecutive Konan Himawari Ondo, and it was a Bon Dance Festival with a constant smile until the end.

August 19th and 20th [Hinominami district] The Fujimi Summer Festival is revived for the first time in four years! The climax is at its peak!

 The Fujimi Summer Festival, jointly organized by 5 Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations in Hinominami and Oyamadai districts in Sakae Ward, was held at Hinominami Park.
 The first day begins with a ukulele performance by Koume, known as a JK ukulele singer, and children and families in yukata are packed one after another before the sun goes down, and the mock shop has a long line. After sunset, it was a great success since the Bon Dance Time began.
 Thank you very much for the Executive Committee, who was prepared for the event in the hot weather and after three years of blanks.

August 19th and 20th [Konandai area] Summer festival will be held for the first time in four years under fine weather!

 A summer festival co-hosted by the Konandai Union Neighborhood Association and the Yokohama Konandai Store Association was held at Konandai Central Park. Many people really enjoyed the best summer night, such as Bon Odori and children's dances and performances, and lined up at the mock shop.

August 19 [Higiri District] Neighborhood Association's 50th Anniversary Commemorative Summer Festival (Nishiarai Residents' Association)

 Under the blue sky, the summer festival of the Nishiarai Residents' Association, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, was held. It was a float that was handmade by volunteers from the residents who shared ideas and excited the summer festival. Along with the opening declaration of Mr. Matsumoto's chairman, everyone pulled together the floats decorated with vivid wood carving dragons and obi, and a lively voice carrying the portable shrine resonated throughout the town. At the venue, many visitors came together with wadaiko performances and Bon Odori, and had a fun time full of smiles.

August 18 "Let's make pizza and croquette!" Experience-based event @ Local Activities Support Center "Pastel"

 As part of the welfare education provided by the Konan Ward Japan National Council of Social Welfare, a workshop on making pizza and croquettes was held at Pastel, a local activity support center. A nearby elementary school student who applied in advance challenged to make pizza and croquettes with the users. The taste of the dishes I made seemed to be exceptional, and everyone ate deliciously.
 In the second half of the event, everyday scenes at pastel and dance scenes of users were screened, and it was a wonderful exchange opportunity.

August 13 [Hinominami district] Natsu event "fun workshop" will be held!

 "Let's enjoy the summer as much as possible this year! A fun workshop was held in community hall with the theme of "Let's do homework during the summer vacation!"
 This year, the children who came first in the morning were waiting for the opening with an exciting face, as beetles could be received at the insect booth!
 In addition, anmitsu is sold at the sweet shop "Rakuan". Anko is handmade by Chairman Tamura of the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in Hinominami district. "It's delicious!" It was sold out in no time.
 At the craft booth, parents and children also challenge work with acorns and paper crafts. Everyone had a good time with a smile!

August 5 [Nagano district] Summer Festival, Bon Dance Festival

 The long-awaited summer festival, Bon Dance Festival, was held for the first time in four years.
 The curtain opened with the performances of the members of the Kaminagaya Junior High School brass band, and the band performances of the teachers of Nagano Elementary School also excited the venue. When the sun went down, Bon Odori and karaoke began, and visitors enjoyed dancing and singing around the proud large tower.
 Looking at the people who greeted, "It's been a long time!", I realized that this event was a place for local people to interact. .

August 5 [Okubo Todo District] The Todo Summer Festa with Fireworks Colored

 The summer festival of Saidocho Tomokai was held at Sakuragaoka Elementary School ground for the first time in four years. The finale was decorated with a number of suspended fireworks and home launch fireworks planned under the guidance of the fireworks coordinator of Asakusabashi. There was a big cheer at the venue for the gorgeous fireworks. August 5 [Okubo Saido District] Satsukidai Summer Festival to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Neighborhood Association.

 The full Shimonagaya Elementary School ground is full of smiles from people who enjoy at simulation shops and game corners. Based on the women's club on the tower built in the center of the ground, a wide range of generations, from children to adults, enjoyed various dances such as sunflower ondo and dancing heroes.

August 4 Local students are also active! Summer Vacation SDGs Fair @ Keikyu Department Store

 Students from Yokohama Municipal Minami High School were exhibiting at the "Summer Vacation SDGs Fair" held at Keikyu Department Store for three days from Friday, August 4, so I was disturbed. A project to consider flower loss was implemented to have children draw using paints made from plants such as discarded flowers. Many visitors participated and it was crowded.
 The ward office also exhibited in collaboration with the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Konan Office and had children learn about correct sorting through garbage separation games.

August 3 The closing ceremony of the 84th Yokohama Senior University (Konan Ward)

 The 84th Yokohama Senior University General Lecture (Konan Ward), which opened in June, celebrated its closing ceremony on August 3.
 A total of 10 general lectures were content that participants wanted to know so that they could live well in the community, such as energy development and knowledge.
 Even though the hot days continue, more than 60% of the people will be awarded a full-time prize for all 10 times, and it can be completed successfully, and the lively expression of each person at the closing ceremony was impressive. August 2 It will be held for the first time in four years! Sunflower life experience exchange 

 From Tuesday, August 2 to three days and two nights, children from Konan Ward visited Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
 The children enjoyed the nature-filled experience program, such as visiting the sunflower hill, first park golf, and climbing the swamp. Children of different places where they live and age. It was impressive to see them get along quickly through their life experience.
 At the farewell party, Sasaki General Branch Manager of Osaki City's Sanbongi General Branch gave a powerful word saying, "I want to continue this exchange forever."
 There are opportunities to interact with Osaki City in the city, such as opening a store at Konan Children's Dream World (held on November 4). I hope you will feel the history of the exchange and the charm of Osaki City.
