Confirmation documents for the person + My Number
When submitting to your employer after employment or opening a securities account such as NISA (small investment tax exemption system), you will be required to confirm your My Number along with your identity verification documents. If you have a My Number card, you can complete the procedure with this one.
You can get copies of resident certificate at convenience stores.
In fiscal 2021, Yokohama City issued approximately 500,000 certificates through the convenience store delivery service. Some certificates, such as copies of resident certificate, are 50 yen cheaper than the counter.

Online procedures such as transfer notification and final tax return can be performed.
In the online procedure that supports My Number Card, you can proceed without going to the counter. For example, in the online procedure for moving out, in FY2021, about 10,000 cases were used in Yokohama City.
