Review of target list of Hodogaya Library in 2023
In fiscal 2023, the Hodogaya Library focused on the following goals. We devise this goal based on "Yokohama-shi medium-term plan", "Yokohama-shi education promotion basic plan", "reading activity promotion target" of each ward. (June 2024) Annual retrospective was announced.

Efforts
Prior coordination with related parties for elevator renovation in FY2024
Annual Review
In June, we held a meeting with related parties to confirm the schedule for renewal next year and matters that need to be adjusted in the future. As a result of coordination with related parties, a meeting was held again in March, and the construction for FY2024 was finalized.
Promotion of reading activities to enrich citizens' learning

Annual Review
- At the "Hoshigaya Hana Festa 2023" held in May, a book market was held as a reading activity promotion society composed of stakeholders such as ward offices and civic groups. 786 people came and distributed about 850 books.
- The reading activity promotion lecture was held in January and 540 people participated. . The content of the lecture was very attractive. - At the school librarian training held in June, 28 school librarians in the city were given a lecture on the theme of "improvement of the environment for using the school library," and individual consultations were made on daily management.

- <Children's Book> For children who are not accustomed to reading story books, we purchased 84 books at the "First Time Story Corner". We received 278 donated materials.
