June is Environment Month

　In commemoration of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, which was held in Stockholm on June 5, 1972, the United Nations has designated June 5 as World Environment Day. In Japan, the Basic Environmental Law (1993) defines June 5 as "Environment Day", and June including this day is designated as "Environment Month". Taking advantage of this Environment Month, Motoichi is promoting the spread and enlightenment of the environment so that citizens, companies, schools, governments, etc. can reconsider environmental issues together and lead to future actions.

　In Yokohama City, with the cooperation of Yokohama DeNA Baystars, we are conducting environmental awareness activities.
　This year, posters will be posted at about 1,050 locations in the city, calling on citizens to take environmental actions. In addition, as in last year, we will also conduct a questionnaire on the environment where 6 Baystars goods are awarded by lottery!

Energy saving
Don't lower the air conditioner temperature too much, don't put too much stuff in the refrigerator.
Replace with energy-saving home appliances at Ecohama (outside site).
Ethical consumption
Purchase eco-friendly products with ecolabel as a mark.
Reduction of disposable plastics
Utilize products that can be used repeatedly, such as My Bags and My Bottles, to reduce disposable plastics.

　This year, we will post a large poster with three players lined up at Kannai Station (Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line). Check it out! In addition, we post in public facilities of city.
