2017 [Hamako Ayu Run-up Project] The fourth working was held! !

On Saturday, March 3, the fourth working, which will be the last in 2017, was held!

In the third session, we will first discuss how we will promote the creation of rivers in Katabira River and the direction of future working.
Discuss about river creation plans centered on "creating an environment where various creatures can live"
It was decided in the direction.
In the fourth session, we discussed what we will do in Katabira River next year and what we will do in the next fiscal year.

First, after reviewing the workings so far, we look at the creatures that live in Katabira River from the results of past surveys.
As a result, there was no problem. It turned out that there are various creatures besides ayu.

Next, from specialists, creatures that can be index species other than ayu, and creatures that can be used as indicators.
Regarding the river environment that is desirable for such creatures to inhabit, we will discuss examples of other rivers.

In addition, we regularly conduct cleanup activities and river experience events to help Katabira River.
Mr. Katabira River is the Hometown River Association, who sees the best.
He talked about the current state of living creatures in Katabira River.

Based on the information in the first half, what kind of river will be created in this project in FY2018?
We discussed environmental goals. A lively exchange of opinions was held, and I was able to visualize the target image visually.
