Carrots and leaf harvesting experience in Miyakooka [Recruitment end]

Application for 2024 has been closed.

Under the guidance of the farmers, experience the harvesting of carrots and leafy vegetables (spinach or komatsuna).
Winter carrots are very sweet. Please try raw carrots once.
Spinach and komatsuna are also called cold tightening (kanji) and the umami increases.
The taste, aroma, and crispness are exceptional.
Please enjoy the deliciousness of winter vegetables at home during the cold season.

Date and time

From 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025
※In case of stormy weather, it was postponed to the same time the next day.

Capacity

Those who live in the city. Up to 10 pairs (family, group, or one person can participate)
※In the case of a large number of applications, lottery. The results will be sent by mail only to the winners by Friday, January 10, 2025.

Participation fee

1,000 yen per set (about 4 to 5 carrots, about 2 bundles of spinach or komatsuna, and take it home.)

Belongings

Clothes that may be dirty, boots, gloves, towels, drinks, backpacks (for carrying harvests), masks, etc.

 Fields in Imajuku Minamimachi, Asahi-ku
 From the north exit of Futamatagawa Station, get off at "New Town No. 4" by Sotetsu bus and walk 9 minutes.
 Alternatively, from Tsurugamine Station, get off at Imajuku by Kananaka Bus and walk 9 minutes.
※There is no parking space, so please use public transportation. Bicycles and motorbikes are allowed.
