Construction of farmland

Procedures are required for "filling and cutting" on farmland (except when recovering due to a disaster such as a typhoon).
The procedure differs depending on the construction area and the height of the embankment and cut. For details, please contact the Agricultural Committee.
In addition, in Yokohama City, the "Entry Regulation Law" was applied on April 1, 2025.
Agricultural land reclamation work may also fall under the Embankment Regulation Law, depending on the land development area and the height of embankment and cut. For more information, please contact the Housing and Architecture Bureau Residential Land Examination Department.
