Efforts to utilize waste cooking oil for SAF (sustainable aviation fuel)

　JAL collects household waste cooking oil at stores with the cooperation of supermarkets in the city that have agreed to the initiative. Special collection bottle of waste cooking oil collected at home ※So, please bring it to the store and pour it in a special collection box. You can take the collection bottle home and use it as many times as you like.
※If you participate in the "Let's fly in the sky with squid oil" project (participation fee 200 yen excluding tax), you will receive a JAL original UCO bottle. You can bring it with plastic bottles, etc., but PET bottles after oiling cannot be recycled, so containers will not be collected at stores. Please use a convenient special collection bottle.

The oil that can be recovered at the store is as follows. Please check it and bring it to the store.

Liquid vegetable oil at room temperature
(Example) Salad oil, sesame oil, seed oil, corn oil, safflower oil, rice oil, soy oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, etc.
[Oils that cannot be recovered]
1 Solid vegetable oil at room temperature (e.g. margarine, shorting, palm oil, palm oil
2 Mineral oil (e.g., kerosene, engine oil)
3 Animal oil (e.g. butter, lard, fish oil, whale oil)
4 Mixed oil such as food and spices (e.g.) Dressing, lar oil, green onion oil, flavor oil
5 Business-related oil (Example) Oil from businesses such as restaurants
