Abandonment and abuse of pets (animals) are punishable.

Animal abandonment and abuse of animals is prohibited by the Act on the Protection and Management of Animals (Drive Love Act).
If you have any information about abuse caused by improper breeding management, such as unnatural injury or insufficient feeding or water, please contact Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in your ward.
Also, if animal abandonment or abuse is a crime, please report to the nearest police department.
