[34th] Children's town development event Mini Mini Midori (Mini Midori) was held

On Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7, the "Children's Town Development Event Mini Mini Midori" was held at the Yamashita Regional Exchange Center, and about 200 children came.
Min Mini Mini Midori is an event where participants can work in shops and enjoy shopping and playing in a town of children with [adult mouthfeeling prohibition] . The Children's Executive Committee is a central member who thinks about the structure of the town, and on the day of the children's town development event, he also plays an active role as the store manager.
It was scheduled to be held last year, but unfortunately due to the influence of COVID-19 infection, the children's executive committee made a PR video of Mini Mini Midori (presentation video, animation "Let's go to the children's town mini-mini-Midori" and rap dance edition "Mimini-Midori School Song"). It was finished in a fun and memorable work.
This year, the declaration of a state of emergency was canceled, but the number of visitors was limited to 50 each time, taking measures such as temperature measurement. The 38 members of the Children's Executive Committee held meetings six times, planning and preparing the structure and work of the town, taking advantage of the Zoom Conference from June, despite restrictions on their activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the day, various shops handmade by the children's executive committee, such as broadcasting stations, banks, general stores, and game corners, appeared, and the participating children worked part-time in the town while shining their eyes, and earned money (middle) I was learning about the structure of society while having fun shopping, playing games, and buying lotteries. When there was a problem with the operation of the town or shop, I remembered that I was trying to solve it on my own.
The "Director General Election" for children's towns was also held, and Director General, Deputy Director General and Deputy Mayors were decided (83.1% turnout). I'm looking forward to coming to the Midori Ward Office next time.
This time, companies and universities in the city also cooperated. An electronic craft class (muscle box production) by Murata Mfg. appeared, and Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. MUJIcom Beans Nakayama provided remnant cloth used for selling goods at general stores and novelty goods from the Bank of Yokohama Nakayama Branch. In addition, 14 students from Toyo Eiwa University and Flat Garden also participated as operating staff on the day. Thanks to everyone's cooperation, the event has become more realistic and fulfilling. Thank you very much.
I am very pleased that this experience will give many children who will lead the next generation an interest in Midori Ward and community development.
