About the monument of Shirayama Shrine
The monument of Shinjintoku at Shirayama Shrine was selected as a monument to shrine hall, which was completed in January 1937, by the goods collected mainly by the shrine parishioner of the shrine.
The monument shows that the shrine, which was a village shrine in Shimo-Saruyama (currently around the Hakusan area), was devastated by the Great Kanto Earthquake and other disasters, and that the area united and revived more than 10 years later, The awe of the sanctuary is described and tells the history.
