About Oyamado signpost
Koshin Pagoda was built in 1849 by Umeda Konaka in late Tokugawa shogunate.
It is a signpost engraved for those heading to Oyama when the Oyama religion flourished. The Koshin Tower is engraved with "Oyama Michi" on the left and "Sakubamichi" on the right.
Sakuba (Whiba) shows the agricultural land at that time, and Sakubamichi was a dead end on farmland, and it was a signpost for those who proceeded to the Oyama Road to make a mistake.
At present, throughout the year, the Miho Citizen's Forest Protection Association is mowing the area around Koshin Tower and cleaning the fallen leaves of roads.
