November is Child Abuse Prevention Promotion Month.
In recent years, many people may feel that they have heard many cases where young lives have been lost due to corporal punishment or abandonment of childcare.
Child abuse is born from a variety of factors surrounding families raising children.
In order to prevent child abuse, it is important not only for parents raising children, but also for schools, nursery schools, and local people to have deep interest and understanding of child care and child abuse.
Every year, Nishi Ward Office displays a child abuse prevention awareness panel at the ward hall on the first floor of the ward office. This year, it will be held from November 2 (Mon) to 13 (Fri), so please drop in.

The Child Welfare Law was amended in April this year, prohibiting corporal punishment for "discipline".
Abuse leaves a great wound on the child's mind and body.
The important thing is that, even if an adult intends to "discipline," all acts that are harmful to the child themselves will be abused.

To protect children from abuse, you need your "awareness" and "courage" to contact the ward office and children's guidance office.
If you encounter a scene that you think may be abused, please contact us immediately without hesitation.
Even if it is not abuse, the contact person will not be held liable.
I would like cooperation of all of you so that children can live smiling and happy.
