A.Seya Ward is a city in Yokohama where you can live with a lot of nature and feel close to water and greenery.
The waterside of the Izumi River
The Izumi River is a river with Seya Ward as headwater.
In the past, it was a murderous river separated by iron boards, but the section of about 2.8 km in the ward has been maintained as six waterfronts.
Nowadays, fish that live in very beautiful rivers such as loach and bees can be seen.
It is a place where you can enjoy the nature-rich landscape of satoyama nearby.

Seya Citizen's Forest
Seya Citizen's Forest is a forest located on the east side of the ward and has an area of about 18ha.
The headwaters of the Izumi River are also here.
There are few undulations, such as conifers and thicket of trees, suitable for nature observation and strolling.
