A parade was held for the first time in four years on May 11, the first day, during the Spring National Traffic Safety Campaign (May 11-May 20).
On the day of the event, under the clear blue sky of May, Mayor Tsuzuki, Chief of Police Tsuzuki and Chairman of the Traffic Safety Association held banners, led by the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Music Band Color Guard, followed by members from Tsuzuki police department to Center Minami Station.
After the parade, a wonderful performance of the Prefectural Police Band and a gorgeous performance with color guards were performed at Supppu Square, and many inhabitants stopped. After this, all participants distributed educational leaflets and appealed for traffic safety. . At the same time, as an activity on May 20, “Aiming for Zero Traffic Accident Deaths,” we used hand plates around pedestrian crossings with traffic lights to alert cars.
