4 Visit the ancient road A famous tree, stone Buddha and stone pagoda and walk along the Sagami road.③
It was erected in 1721 (1721) as a retreat temple of Suiryuin in Hodogaya Ward. It became an abandoned temple due to its aging, and the statue of Buddha in main deity is now dedicated to the Shoryuin. The fair, which was held on the grounds of the temple, was famous in Yokohama City and continued from the late Edo period to the early Showa period.
