Mayor's Greeting
Mayor
Hello everyone. Thank you very much for your time when you are busy today.
I took office at the end of August last year, and it became a social situation where I could have such a meeting from around April and May, so I immediately had the opportunity to meet everyone.
I'm also a child-raising generation, so I think it's the happiest to see where children are gathering, nursery schools and kindergartens, and elementary school students are coming to school. I think one of the biggest challenges in me is how to promote the support of those children.
I think the mission is to make Yokohama City where everyone can say that it is easy to live in Yokohama and raise children.
I would like to hear the frank opinions of everyone at the site and the issues and directions you are working on.
We look forward to seeing you today.
About Seya Ward child care support net
Participant
People from various positions such as local welfare officers and children's committees, chief children's committees, kindergartens, nursery schools, child care supporters, pharmacies, etc. gather to form a child care support net and work. .
Mayor
Are the organizations that are engaged in child care support almost covered?
Participant
Many people are participating. Geographically, Seya Ward is so long that it is divided into four blocks.
An event in which the four blocks created uniqueness
Participant
Until fiscal 2019, once a year in November, the park next to the Seya Ward Office and in the public hall Office, in the Seya Ward Office, around November, the generation of child-rearing generations from all over Seya Ward held a big event to support child-rearing. However, in fiscal 2020, we had to cancel the event due to COVID-19. In fiscal 2021, we would like to hold an event somehow for everyone who is active during the COVID-19 pandemic and those who are raising children who are usually involved in raising children, so that participants will not concentrate and the travel distance will be shorter, divided into four blocks, and the schedule and venue will be divided into four times, and each block will be held slightly differently. Despite common events, the event was held with uniqueness at each venue.
A baby born in the COVID-19 pandemic turns 2 years old.
Participant
Three years ago, in the spring of 3 years ago, all child care support activities were stopped due to COVID-19, and those who are raising children could not use the park, school was closed, so I think it was a time when I couldn't understand what to do.
A few months later, I restricted the number of people at the "Parent and Child Gathering Plaza" and started to be scared, and it was in a state where one set or one set came. "I don't know where to go, but it's really hard to stay at home and opened it, so I thought it would be safe here." It's heavy for me.
Two years have passed since the COVID-19 pandemic, and the baby born at the age of 0 will be 2 years old, and the child will be 2 years old without getting a very important opportunity to make a park debut and play outside I felt scared.
I was worried that a large number of people would still gather, but since the support net was divided into four blocks, it was a start from the point where I could feel relieved if I did it for each block.
One of the good points that it was divided into four blocks was that the plazas and nursery schools, which are resources for child care, were different for each block, so each was able to take advantage of its characteristics.
Mayor
Did you have any opinions such as "Do you really do it?" in a situation where COVID-19 has not been held for two years?
Participant
In the first year, the atmosphere was like "I can't do it next year", but in the second year, I think it was a good time because the time when I was talking and the time when the COVID-19 infection status was calm.
"Human-shaped art" connected by four venues
Participant
In order to have a sense of unity as well as our own efforts, we implemented "human-type art" as a common program of the four venues. The child was laid on the curing sheet, and the surroundings took a human shape, cut it out, and decorated it with ropes.
Baby can also be made and adults can do it, so I was able to decorate various sizes and movements of humanoid art.
Not only those who participated, but also support net groups and nursery schools that could not come to the park event on the day were able to make not only those who participated, so those who came to the park and those who could not come I think it's very grateful that I was able to connect with human-type art. I hope that this year we can create a sense of unity by creating something common program.
Pharmacy also participates
Participant
As we are focusing on places like pharmacies x areas, we are participating in child care support nets as part of that. In conducting this event, I was going to help with play, but this time the situation is also the situation, so I also used a tool called hand washing checker to have parents and children experience how to disinfect hands while having parents and children experience We took measures to prevent infection throughout the event.
Since it was a hand-washing experience, every venue was held with a few pharmacists, but it was so popular that there were some venues that I thought it was a little short. I thought it was more useful than I thought.
Held during the COVID-19 pandemic, participants' reactions
Mayor
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are restrictions on going out, especially when you are 0 years old, the golden age of 1, 2, and 3 years old is such a situation, and I think that the event was held with all your might, but how was the reaction of the parents and children who participated? 。
Participant
We were very anxious too. However, when I opened the lid, a lot of people came and enjoyed it.
However, as for the infection control part, I made various preparations through trial and error, and on the day, I was delighted with the large number of people, and there were places where I was scared because I gathered too much.
Effects of distributed holdings
Mayor
Please tell us the merits and demerits of holding it in four places.
Participant
By dividing it into four, I think the biggest advantage is that I did it in a place where I could walk from home or go by bicycle.
Until now, it was a bottleneck that I had to go to a distant venue, but at that time it was corona, so I decided to try it in four places. By dividing it into four, we were able to take advantage of the characteristics of the resources of each block.
In addition, since this support net has been active for a long time, members who wanted to think about children and exchange information from various perspectives gathered to form teamwork, so the story about what our block will do It went very smoothly.
Participant
I don't think there are any disadvantages.
I couldn't get out of the distance at one ward office, so it was great that I could do it in a place where I could walk and take my children.
Participant
Some people participated as if they were doing what they were doing as if they were passing by, so I think that the low threshold was very large for those raising children.
How to ignite the powers of each.
Mayor
How did you make it known to your home?
Participant
The publicity was that a flyer common to the four blocks was overhanged on the bulletin board through the members of the local welfare committee.
Depending on the block, I made a separate flyer for the venue and circulated it in Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.
Mayor
You are in cooperation with the local welfare committee members and the Neighborhood Association.
Participant
After that, a support network group also sent flyers.
Mayor
It's nice that there are opportunities for organizations of various roles to cooperate for child care, like a support net.
Participant
Each of them is like a show of their power. "I'll do this," or "I'll leave this place to my house."
The number of "shyness" increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Mayor
I think the environment for raising children is changing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but has the content of consultations from parents changed before and now?
Participant
The "Child Care Supporter Business" I am doing is a business where you can consult with children once a week at district centers. In the past, I was able to drop in casually, but now I have a reservation system due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mothers who come even if they make a reservation system and limit the number of people have the impression that they are seeking a playground for children rather than consultation. Before making a reservation system, there were foreigners, but foreigners seemed to be difficult to make a reservation and I couldn't easily meet them. What I feel is that the number of children who are really shy is increasing.
Mayor
I wonder if there is not much contact opportunity due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Participant
When I first came, there were children who rode on their mother's laps, and when they came three or four times, they gradually started playing away from their mother's laps, and the words they talked about increased little by little. As you get used to it, you're completely calm, and it's increasing that you feel that you didn't have enough opportunities to interact with people.
Children develop using various functions, such as speaking words, moving a lot, and various functions. I think it's a bit sad that children who are supposed to grow up imitating other children are growing up with only watching TV and parents.
Support for the child-rearing generation that can be done because it is a "pharmacy x region" pharmacy
Mayor
I don't think it's easy for pharmacies to participate in the network of child care support, but what kind of thoughts are the strongest?
Participant
It seems that pharmacies are responsible for the place where they go to the hospital to get prescriptions and get medicine, and the last access of medical care. However, from the business of the original pharmacy, the original pharmacy must be a place of first access to ensure a healthy life for the people and a place where healthy people go to maintain their health. I think it is the way it should be. It is necessary to be involved in various generations and help the health of those people.
Originally, there was a thought that we had to provide support to child-raising households. It seems that there is a need to consult a pharmacy or hospital for mothers, so I visit a child care salon once every two months to consult about health. If it is done by the Pharmacists Association as a whole, the number of child-raising generations with such high literacy will increase in Seya, and if you do it in Yokohama City as a whole, literacy will be higher as Yokohama City, so in the future I want to expand it, and I'm doing it as part of that.
Necessity to change the position of "leaders"
Mayor
I think the problem of the bearer is largely due to your good intentions. Under such circumstances, what is the current situation of securing workers?
Participant
Not only in places for raising children, but also in the elderly and local festivals, there is a shortage of workers, and no matter where you go. I think we have come to a place where we need to change our position as a leader.
I saw a scene that I thought it was a great sight, but I was playing outside at a local event, and first a set of parents and children remembered the rules, and that father taught other children the rules He gave me and partitioned the place. Looking at it, I don't think it's time to divide the leaders and the participants, but to look for a form where the participants can work together with a little help.
Mayor comment
Mayor
Thank you very much. I was impressed by the attitude of people from various positions forming a network and supporting the children of Seya with all their might.
Yokohama is a city that is admired in various rankings, a city that wants to live, and a city that always has a brand power that ranks high, so if the environment for raising children is further enhanced, the child-rearing generation will be more livable, and children will be born in the future. I think that families who are going to or families who already have children will come into Yokohama, so I would like to strengthen my child-rearing policy by all means.
Today, we have received various helpful opinions, and I think that there is an activity that draws on the needs of the site because it is the people of the site, so we aim for an approach that can develop such activities horizontally as a government I want to go.
Thank you very much for having a very busy time today.
