Mayor's Greeting
Mayor
In particular, what I would like to focus on is activities to strengthen the environment for raising children. I think various approaches are necessary for that purpose. So, I would like to go to the site and talk directly with everyone who is active at the forefront of the site, hear the issues and ideas directly, and use them as hints for future municipal administration.
Connecting with local communities through multiple functions
Participant
From the beginning, "Nikorinku" has implemented a refresh program tailored to development, leading to consultation with children with developmental disabilities. We value the interaction between caregivers very much. If you are a child with a problem or a mental disorder, you can consult with the Sakae Ward Main Consultation Support Center and the Sakae Ward Guardianship Support Office dragonfly, located in the next generation exchange station.
Mayor
It's a feature here.
Participant
There are many programs from the early stages of pregnancy, and we are conducting various programs to connect to the community after childbirth. Child-rearing has led to the community and is now at the age of junior and senior high school children who are connected to the circle marry.
Mayor
I'm really happy because it's a circular type.
Participant
There is a system in which local volunteers take care of children up to the sixth grade of elementary school. There are many children with disabilities among them, so we are looking for volunteers to take care of children with disabilities and aim to connect with them regardless of disability in the community.
Participant
People with and without disabilities want to take care of them together without separation. I didn't have any idea like normalization from the beginning. The reason that came out was that a parent of a child with developmental disabilities came to consult in a consultation business for people with disabilities. The ward office also agreed with the efforts to establish a place to talk with the parents, and the school teachers also joined and shared the worries of the parents. . It came out that there was no place for parents and there was no place for children, so I also decided to create a place for them voluntarily.
New awareness created by integrated management
Participant
"Friends ☆ SAKAE" attracts people with or without disabilities, but "Picondo" is intended for people with disabilities. Both are coming after school, but there is a sense of discomfort why they are divided. I'm often noticed by doing it together, and I feel that multi-generational initiatives are very important.
Mayor
Listening to your story, I feel that these next-generation exchange stations are being used effectively. Could you tell me how to interact with local people?
Participant
As an exchange with the local people, once a month, the local grandfather generation, called a toy hospital, can fix the toy that they have thought about throwing it away.
Twice at the end of the year and at the beginning of the year, people who are good at local calligraphy come. Recently, the children of "Picondo" also participate together and write their aspirations for one year. We are doing exchanges with various groups so that children can have exchanges.
Participant
I think it's very important to go out with people with disabilities. I did some noodles with the children of "Friends ☆ SAKAE", asked the local people to help from the beginning of the project, and had them prepare a fun scene together, `` Even if there is a disability I'm ordinary children. "
I play normally with children playing in the park, flowing leaves in the river, and playing like myself. Many Friends children are healthy, but I hope they will naturally get to know that they will naturally play with local children.
I think of "important things" triggered by "fun things".
Mayor
From the viewpoint of providing support throughout the region, I want you to know the goodness. I want organizations that have good efforts to work for a long time, so I think sustainability is important. I think it is important to get to know first for that purpose, but are you having a hard time raising awareness?
Participant
It is a well-known activity that both "Nikorinku" and "Friends ☆ SAKAE" will come to play. I wonder if the station festival that we are doing as a whole is exactly the case.
Mayor
Are there residents of the station festival?
Participant
It's over 900 people.
Participant
Therefore, a child of "Picondo" participates as a volunteer regardless of disability.
Participant
"Friends ☆ SAKAE" also comes a lot of children who have really hard time. Due to poverty, some children are worried about eating rice, so it is a place to overcome themselves by having fun and time at such times. I wonder if I can experience something fun and have a sense of self-affirmation.
Participant
The children of "Picondo" are helping "Friends ☆ SAKAE" or vice versa.
Participant
Fun is the entrance for children, but I hope it will be a chance to think about important things.
Securing new leaders through exchanges
Mayor
Especially because of the COVID-19 pandemic, I think activities were restricted. I would like you to do things that people gather, and I would like to do something that can help as a government. Do you have anything you would like to do in the future?
Participant
People with disabilities sell bread once a month at "Nikorinku". When young parents come to buy bread with their small children, their children will receive a bag of bread that they will pass slowly, and their parents will wait for people with disabilities to give them. We can see the attitude of such things. Children are also working with the hope that they can interact with people with disabilities as a matter of course and lead to rich growth.
The guardianship support system for persons with disabilities that we are conducting is a system that monitors people with disabilities in the community. The local people are called safe keepers, but Sakae Ward has a very large number of safe keepers and about 120 people. Through interaction with people with such disabilities, I would like to spread the activities to the younger generation's parents and become a member of the community watching.
Mayor
How did the keeper recruit?
Participant
The members of the local welfare committee explained the system, raised their hands, and word of mouth from a keeper.
Mayor
I think that there are a lot of difficulties due to various efforts. What are the challenges you face today?
Participant
We have the question of how to accept volunteers.
Participant
It is a daily concern how to interact with children, rather than an issue.
Participant
"Nikorinku" is a bit far from the station and how to appeal to parents who haven't visited Sakae Ward for a long time.
In a place where various encounters are born
Mayor
I think the potential demand is absolutely high. I would like to support public awareness activities as a government. I want you to know such a good approach, and I think you can make videos.
Participant
I started Instagram.
Mayor
That's good. If you are a young person, you are a smartphone generation.
Participant
In many cases, "Friends ☆ SAKAE" is used in cases where the person does not know whether there is a disability or not, and the family cannot accept it. There is a good point that people with developmental disabilities and mental illness can work together immediately, but there is an 18-year-old wall and it seems difficult to support children at this time alone. I would like to cooperate with somewhere, but the current situation is that there is no place for those children. It is expected that the number of children with developmental disabilities will increase in the future, and I feel that the challenge is where and how to accept and support them.
Participant
"Picondo" wants to create opportunities for local people and children to meet on a daily basis even if they do not attend the event.
Participant
In dragonfly, there are more than 160 registrants and about 120 safe keepers, but I would like to increase the number of places where people can meet each other and talk to each other in the city.
Participant
There are about 120 safe keepers, but there are still some people who do not know it, so I would like you to know about the system this year.
Participant
In this building, children can choose whether they want to go to "Friends ☆ SAKAE" or go to "Nikorinku" and read it to small children. I would like to aim for a society where people with disabilities can experience and choose in various ways.
Participant
Children with disabilities are picked up and picked up at home by school bus from the support school, so there are few opportunities to interact with local people. Then I think I will go to such a school because I need help, but if I need to push a wheelchair, I think that if my friends can take classes in the same classroom. As an adult, I come here to consult, but since I was little, I couldn't get the same experience because I had a disability, I couldn't give the same environment, I had been alienated somewhere, and now I think it's necessary to play with various children from a young age.
Mayor comment
Mayor
It turned out that this facility is making a very attractive approach. I thought that the government had to support an environment where everyone could feel about their children and spend time with a smile. . In order to maintain the sustainability of our efforts, I think it is necessary to raise awareness and secure leaders. I would like to strengthen the environment where children can be snugged up with local residents. We will continue to work hard to make the children smile, so I would like to hear from you about the situation.
In the future, I would like to continue to visit the site and listen to everyone's voices, so I look forward to your continued support. Thank you very much for today.
