We have formulated the Yokohama City Sewerage Business Medium-Term Management Plan 2022

The sewerage business in Yokohama City is managed with independence as a public enterprise based on the “Principle of Independent Revenue System (Note 1)” and the “Principle of Rainwater Public Expenses and Sewage Private Expenses (Note 2)”.
Since the previous plan was completed in FY2021 (Reiwa 3), as a new plan, the “Yokohama City Sewerage Business Medium-Term Management Plan 2022 "was formulated.

(Note 1) Principle of Independent Revenue System: The principle of continuing the business with independence, covering expenses with income from the business
(Note 2) Principle of public expenses for rainwater and private expenses for sewage: The principle of rainwater, which is a natural phenomenon, is borne by public expenses (city tax), and sewage generated by daily life is borne by private expenses (sewerage fee).
