Yokohama City Council has decided to present donation 850,000 yen to the Kingdom of Tonga to help those affected by the eruption of Hunga Tonga-Hunga-Haapai volcano on January 15, 2022.
On behalf of Yokohama City Council, Chairman Yokohama City Council SHIMIZU Tomio handed the catalog of donation to the Kingdom of Tonga, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Tonga to Japan.
Mr. Shimizu expressed his condolences to those who died, and expressed his condolences to the Kingdom of Tonga and the victims.
I pray that the peaceful daily lives of the people of Tonga will be restored as soon as possible.
