On August 8, 2021, Masataka Ota (OTA Masataka Association, Isogo Ward) resigned under Article 90 of the Public Office Election Law, and based on the provisions of Article 111, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Act, today, Chairman Tomio Shimizu notified the Yokohama City Election Commission that there was a vacancy in city council members.
