As the 18-year-old voting right was enforced in 2016 and the adult age was reduced to 18 in April next year, it is important for the younger generation to develop the ability to participate in politics.
In Yokohama City Council, students from Yokohama Municipal High School visit City Counsil to provide opportunities for high school students to think about issues and familiar issues in Yokohama by visiting the Capitol and exchanging opinions with city council members.
