In what case the subway fare is the 1 yen unit fare, and in what case the 10 yen unit fare?
As a general rule, when entering and exiting an automatic ticket gate etc. with the same IC card, the 1 yen unit fare will be applied.
Major cases in which fares are in units of 1 yen
・When entering an automatic ticket gate with an IC card and participating with the same card
・When entering an automatic ticket gate with an IC commuter pass and traveling outside the regular section with the same card
(If the balance is insufficient, please charge (pay) the shortage in units of 1,000 yen or 10 yen at the checkout machine, and then pass through the ticket gate at PASMO / Suica.)
Major cases in which fares are in units of 10 yen
・When purchasing a ticket at a ticket vending machine using cash or IC card (SF)
・When entering an automatic ticket gate with a ticket, coupon, or magnetic commuter pass, and using an IC card for Norikoshi settlement.
