We sell used cars from light motor vehicles. I've heard that there is no tax on commodity cars. Will you be exempt from taxation?

Article 72 of the Yokohama City Tax Ordinance stipulates that "light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) shall not be imposed on products such as light motor vehicles that are not used."
In view of light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei)'s nature as a contribution to road damage, light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) is not imposed on goods in the distribution stage that are not allowed to travel on roads. Therefore, even for products at the distribution stage, those that carry out procedures for running on roads (registered numbers) are not subject to "light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei)" because they can run on roads.
