Do I need to report to the ward office to receive the mortgage deduction for personal residence tax?

You don't need to make a declaration. From 2010, mortgage deductions in personal residence tax will be received without individuals submitting special tax credit declarations such as housing borrowings to municipalities. Based on the year-end adjustment of the employer and the contents of the tax office's income tax return, the ward office determines and applies the mortgage deduction for resident tax.
