NO.5 I gave a class on taxes at Imai Elementary School

　On Wednesday, May 23, two staff from the ward office Tax Division served as lecturers, and gave tax-related classes to a total of 52 students in 6th grade at Imai Elementary School. . We had fun learning about the significance, role, and usage of taxes in quiz format. .
　In the class, nine buildings, including schools, police department, and convenience stores, were displayed on panels to answer whether the building was built with taxes, and when asked, "How much does it cost per elementary school studenｔ per month?"
　Also, watch a DVD entitled "If taxes are gone, what will happen to our society?" And let them understand the role and importance of taxes in society. I actually held a bundle of 100 million yen of bills in my hand and felt the weight. Everyone was raising their voices with a smile, such as "heavy, amazing."
　I think it was very good that the elementary school students who will lead the future were interested in tax. In anticipation of the 100th anniversary of the constituency system in 2027 and the GREEN x EXPO 2027, the Hodogaya Ward Office will make effective use of precious taxes in order to connect "the town that has lived forever" to the future.
