"Gathering of Yokodai Music 2024" was held.

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, "Yokodai Music Gathering 2024" was held at the Yokodai-Daiichi Elementary School Gymnasium (sponsored by the Yokodai Culture Creation Association, sponsored by the Yokodai District Autonomous Neighborhood Associations, and cooperation: Yokohama City Yokodai Community Care Plaza).
The gathering of Yokodai music has a history of continuing since 1985, and it has been held for the first time in five years after a cancellation period due to coronavirus. This music festival, in which local residents and elementary and junior high school children participate together, is a unique event unique to Yokodai, which aims to create a city through culture and values the connection between schools and the community.
At the opening, all the venues sang the city song "My Town Yokodai" with the piano accompaniment of the Chairman of the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in the Yokodai Mizoguchi. A total of 450 people from a wide range of generations, including presenters and viewers, participated, and the entire venue was united and excited.
