　The Uchikoshi Park Protection Association, which operates at Uchikoshi Park in Niikoyasu 1-chome, was awarded the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism commendation for "Midori Protection".
　For more than 20 years, he has been working on planting in the park, caring for flower beds, cleaning activities, etc., and has been recognized for being a park that is familiar to the community from children to the elderly.
　When I learned the good news and visited Uchikoshi Park for whatever I wanted, I happened to meet Chairman Hiroko Kabasawa and Vice Chairman Setsuko Uchiyama to hear the story. According to the two, in addition to the members of the protection society, there are many places that can be helped by the support of the local community, and the beautification enlightenment poster posted in the park is also drawn by local elementary school students.
　I was reminded that the accumulation of local activities by many people supported the livability of Kanagawa Ward, and I felt warm.
　The large trees and seasonal flowers are also wonderful parks. Please drop in during your walk.
