Basic goals
"Kanagawa Ward" connected with a smile
~ Together with the local people, we will promote a safe, warm and energetic town development ~
Measures to achieve the targets
1 Safe and Secure Town Development
We encourage self support to take action through the distribution of “My Disaster Prevention Map” so that people can quickly evacuate during major earthquake and storms and floods, as well as reduce damage. At the same time, we will support disaster prevention organizations in the town, deploy goods and training to strengthen the refuge system, and promote the efforts of community support and government support.
We will work with local communities and related organizations to raise awareness of anti-crime program and traffic safety through special fraud.
2 Town development where everyone can continue to live lively
As support for the elderly, we will promote efforts to prevent frail (weakness of the elderly) and promote understanding of dementia.
We will promote the creation of a cooperative system for organizations related to children with disabilities and support activities such as local workshops.
We support activities in local places where parents and children can interact with each other and consult about concerns about raising children. In addition, we maintain system to plan improvement of consultation, support in imminent ward office and work on early detection of child abuse and prevention of isolation of caregivers.
3 Town development where the region is connected and full of charm
We will support the resumption of local activities, which are restricted by the influence of the COVID-19 infection, work together to resolve issues, and foster leaders who support these activities.
We send charm of ward such as historical assets or shopping street and raise interest and attachment to area and bring up connection between inhabitants of a wide range of generations.
In addition, we will promote the Kanagawa Support Love Plan (Kanagawa Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan) in cooperation with local residents and related organizations.
Organization management to achieve goals-Creating a trusted ward office-
Improvement of inhabitant services
We carry out administrative service accurately and promptly by further skill improvement of ward office staff.
In addition, we push forward environment maintenance so that next agency person can use ward office in peace and comfortably.
Practice of field principle
Each and every employee is aware of the responsibilities and roles they should fulfill, listen to the voices of the residents, practice on-site principles, and promote the community development through collaboration.
Promotion of Team Kanagawa
We will strengthen the cooperation of each section to solve issues, and work together with "Team Kanagawa".
In addition, in order to improve organizational strength, we will work on work style reforms and promote the creation of a work environment where staff can demonstrate their abilities with satisfaction.
