2.Results of the survey

  • Appearance: The foreign matter was like a small brown hair of 2-3mm.
  • Mirror examination: When foreign matter was observed with a scanning electron microscope with a control of kiwifruit hair, a similar structure was observed, and when foreign matter was observed with a stereo microscope, it was 2-3 mm long, 0.03-0.08 mm thick, and the tip was thin and pointed. The base was thick and characteristic pattern was observed. Its shape was similar to plant fibers, especially kiwifruit hair.

3.Conclusion

This foreign body was presumed to be kiwifruit hair. (In a later survey, it was said that after cutting the kiwi on the cutting board, it was mixed when making powdered milk on it.)
