The ghost of the neck mound

A long time ago, the area around the Kashio River was still a large wetland.
There was a rumor from Honshiroyama in the village of Shimonagaya, saying that at night, you could hear a painful, sad, and sound without difficulty.
"I'm afraid I'm going to see this Shiroyama. Do you know?"
A boy who was playing on the grounds of the shrine began to talk.
"At night, a sad voice can be heard every day, even the stee of the village."
"I know, I know. The grandpa saw something moving in the mountains, then heat up, and neighed."
The little girl, who was listening to the boys, said with a crying face.
"That voice has just heard the owl's voice, and she said,"
The children of the village turned home when the sun fell into the west mountain.
He tightened the door of the house, closed his ears in the lazy house, and quietly stopped everyone coming home.
This rumor did not stay forever, and the villagers were worried about what to do.
At that time, I had a memorial Buddha practitioner who passed through this village memorial service for Shuzuka. But I still hear the voice.
So I imitated a famous spiritual superior from Edo and had Buddhist memorial service do it. Then there was no voice.
During the Warring States period, this mountain was a bird of Ujinao Hojo. In the mountains, the Hira Togawa and Nagatani rivers became double moats, and were bitten by a large wetland. A lot of people fought against this chicken.
Mr. Hojo cut the heads of many enemies and made him show him. And after that he gathered his neck and buried it in the mound. The sad and painful memories of those who were killed at that time may have been conveyed to the villagers as such.
