Results of dioxins survey in soil (FY2023)

This page is a document describing the results of a survey of dioxin concentrations in soil conducted in 2023 (Reiwa 5).

Overview of the Survey

In Yokohama City, the entire city was divided into five districts this year for dioxins in the soil, and one point was selected from each district and surveyed. We are pleased to inform you that the results of the survey have been compiled.

Survey points and methods

The survey points were selected for parks with bare land with a certain area suitable for sampling, and were collected and analyzed in accordance with the "Soil Survey and Measurement Manual for Dioxins (Ministry of the Environment: March 2022)".

From September 14 to 15, 2023

Results of the survey

The concentration of dioxins in the soil at five locations in the city conformed to the soil environmental standard of 1,000 pg-TEQ / g at all locations.
The survey results of each point are as follows.
