Features | It is an evergreen Takagi that produces red fruits with a diameter of about 6 mm from autumn to January. Flowers bloom in small pale purple flowers from May to June. The name comes from the fact that young branches and petioles are purple-black (black-colored) and are of the Mochinoki family. In addition, it is popular as an auspicious tree because of the word combination of Kuroganemochi-"rich".
