　On December 1 (Thursday), a letter of commission was transmitted from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare and the Mayor of Yokohama following the simultaneous re-election of "Committee for Consumers, Children's Committee and Chief Children's Committee". .
　The Consumer Affairs Committee System began with the "Jisei Advisor System", which was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1917 (Daisei 6), and consistently worked to support the poor in life. Has always played an important role in promoting local welfare, such as working on new activities. . In 2017, the system has a history of celebrating its 100th anniversary.
　In Nishi Ward, 119 people were commissioned, of which 25 were newly appointed.
　The local welfare officers and children's committees are close to the community, support those who need support as familiar consultants and watchers, and respond to consultations from residents on various living problems and concerns. It has an important role to be a "bridge" with related organizations such as the ward office.
　In addition, the Chief Children's Committee works in cooperation with elementary and junior high schools and various institutions for the community development where children can live with peace of mind and grow up healthy.
　We hope that the members of the Consumer Affairs Committee, Children's Committee and Chief Children's Committee will play an active role in making Nishi Ward a "town where everyone can live happily and happily."
