　The Deaflympics is a comprehensive competition for the hearing impaired and is held once every four years in both summer and winter. Kumi Hayasaki won the silver medal this time in the Mountain Bike Women's XCO event. In 2013 and 2017, bronze medals were also won, and medals were won for three consecutive tournaments.
　Kentaro Hayasaki did not win the medal, but he participated in this deaflympics and was also active as a staff member. In addition to hosting the Waseda Dojo, a study school for deaf children in Nishi Ward, he is also a director of the 70th anniversary movie of the All Japan Deaf Federation, Sakimu.
　Kumi Hayasaki said, "This time, I've practiced with the desire to win third place or higher. While there were many young players, I was worried about my physical strength, but it was the third time, and I think it was the result of mental calmness. " Before participating in the tournament as a player, he has been supporting anti-doping as a staff member (pharmacist) and has supported the team. We heard that mountain bike maintenance and car washing are also important for the race, and I once again felt the importance of working together as a team.
　In addition, Nishi Ward plans to hold sports experience sessions for children, including inclusive sports. Kentaro Hayasaki says that it is wonderful to use the body to feel sports, and if you increase not only images, information, knowledge, but also opportunities to experience, it will be an experience where you can experience real excitement I received advice.
