　On February 25, the main event for Nishi Ward's book-reading activity promotion project, "Nishi Ward Reading Activity Promotion Lecture" was held on the Minato Mirai Campus of Kanagawa University.
　This year, we invited Yohei Yashiro, the creator of the popular artist "YASOBI" as a "unit that turns novels into music", and were able to hold face-to-face at the Yoshimori Yoneda Memorial Hall on campus. Was. Mr. Yashiro is very pleased to hear that he often used Chuo-toshokan during his school days, and that he was deeply connected to Nishi Ward, and I would like to take this opportunity to express his gratitude to all those involved.
　At the lecture, Mr. Yashiro's impressive books, his own reading experience, and his pride as a producer, he talked about a wide range of topics, and in a dialogue with two students from Kanagawa University's Faculty of Arts, I was very interested in asking questions from young people who fluttered into society and answers from instructors.
　In addition, the City of Yokohama, Nishi Ward x monogatary.com Collaborative Project for Promoting Reading Activities, which was held as an interlocking project for lectures, is taking on the challenge of reading sentences based on grand prize works. On the day of the lecture and the grand prize works of the collaboration project will be posted on the Nishi Ward website in the future, so I hope everyone will take a look and feel the infiniteness of reading.
　In Nishi Ward, we will promote initiatives that allow residents to feel familiar with reading and enjoy reading, so please look forward to future activities.
