It's fun! Feb. 15 Komachi Forum in FY2024

　On Saturday, February 15, the Nikomachi Forum, a presentation of the Nikomachi Plan (Nishi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan), was held in Nishi public hall, where more than 400 people came to the event.
　Part 1 was presented by Chairman Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association of each district association to reflect on the plans for each district plan in the fourth term, and shared issues related to local activities such as the aging of workers and labor shortages and ideas for solving them. Next, the musical "Nikomachi no Hikari" by children of Miyatani Elementary School 6th grade was performed, and the venue was filled with songs and performances with such passion, "I want to do what I can do for the community." Was wrapped in great excitement.
　In the second part, as a lecture on disaster prevention, Mr. Suzuki, Representative Director of reduce disaster damage Lab, who has been dedicated to supporting the affected areas since before the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, gave a lecture on the theme of "promotion of disaster prevention that does not work hard."
　At the finale, everyone sang the song “Hanasaki Hometown” by the local welfare officer and the image song “Nikomachi no Uta” of the Nikomachi Plan, and the entire venue became one. As you can see in the lyrics, the ward office will do its utmost to work together with the local community, aiming for a higher Nishi Ward than the rainbow.
