Hen history / origin
A town newly established from each part of Ondacho and Nishihassakucho with the enforcement of the land readjustment project in 1970. In the old days, it was a part of Tana-mura and Naka-Satomura, Tsuzuki-gun. When transferred to Yokohama City in 1939, it became Ondacho and Nishihassakucho. Transferred from Midori Ward following the reorganization of administrative districts in 1994. When planning a development plan for the entire area, the name of the town was planned to be unified with the name of the plant to represent the image of a beautiful and quiet residential area, so it corresponds to the adjacent area `` Umegaoka '' and `` Tsutsujigaoka '' Named.
