Basic goals
Realization of "Hometown Asahi" that continues to be chosen by many people, including the child-rearing generation.
Building a suburban model of "SDGs Future City, Yokohama"
Three pillars of measures to achieve the targets
Safety and Security
○Further strengthen the disaster prevention capabilities of the town's disaster prevention organization (Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, etc.) and promote community support's efforts.
○Creating Safe and Secure Towns by Promoting Disaster Prevention, anti-crime program and Traffic Safety Measures
○Nurturing the next generation, watching and supporting each other in familiar areas where everyone can continue to live with peace of mind, and promoting the creation of connections
Regional Power
○Support tailored to individual needs, from pregnancy to infants and young people, and create an environment where children can be raised throughout the region and can grow through various experiences so that children can be enjoyed and raised in the community with peace of mind.
○Creating an environment that recognizes diversity, raises voices and supports each other in case of trouble.
○Promotion of diverse partner cooperation and creation of regional vitality through support and information dissemination of various regional challenges.
Creation of Attractiveness
○Promote initiatives to foster momentum for GREEN x EXPO 2027
○Dissemination of attractiveness utilizing the environment, culture and historical property that can be familiar with water, greenery, flowers, and agriculture.
○Creating attractiveness for promoting immigration and settlement, including the child-rearing generation
Organizational management to achieve the goals
Trusted ward office
○We will steadily promote administrative services from the perspective of inhabitants of a ward, such as providing accurate, prompt, polite, friendly, and highly convenient services, and improving the government building environment.
○In response to changes in local needs and the social environment, we will work to utilize new methods and styles, including digitalization, and improve efficient and effective business execution.
○Through a variety of media and opportunities, we aim to disseminate information that can be transmitted from the standpoint of residents.
Challenge through Connection
○We will promote cooperation and collaboration with partners such as diverse people, companies, and organizations, and challenge local issues and create new value.
○Through duties of ward or district charge system, we share the actual situation and problem of district and support local independent approach.
Team Asahi
○We will work on human resource development, work-life balance, and work style reform so that staff can maximize their motivation and abilities.
○The staff will cooperate across the board, work on solving problems with "Team Asahi", and promote the creation of an organization that grows together.
