From around 16:30 to night on Monday, October 12, 2020 reports were sent to Fire Bureau and Environmental Planning Bureau, mainly in areas around Yokohama Station and Minato Mirai 21.
At the same time, the odor was confirmed at the main building of Fire Bureau. At the same time, atmospheric samples were collected at Fire Bureau and analyzed at the Environmental Planning Bureau Institute of Environmental Science. As a result, substances contained in evaporated gas such as gasoline were detected. The source of the offensive odor has not been identified at this time.
