The government's request for the declaration of a state of emergency to refrain from going out following the spread of COVID-19 infection may have resulted in changes in atmospheric concentrations of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted from automobile traffic and industrial activities.
As a result, the concentration of NOx during the declaration of a state of emergency period was reduced. We will continue to monitor changes in the air environment in the city.
