In Yokohama City, the former site of the former Yokohama Customs Yamate Dormitory (99-4 Yamate-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, etc.) is being developed as an extension of Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen) through the Yokohama Green Up Project.
Excavations of buried cultural properties were conducted for maintenance, and the building foundation of the former US Navy Hospital was discovered.
It is scheduled to be backfilled in March 2022 for future park maintenance and local preservation of the remain.
