The Institute for Environmental Science conducts temperature observations in summer (July and August) at 41 locations in the city.
The average temperature in July and August at all locations in 2021 was about the same as the average for the past 10 years (from 2011 to 2010). However, even in this year, which is close to the average value, the temperature changed drastically in August by season, and there were days when the temperature was severe in early and late.
