Preliminary survey of the koala building viewing passage in Kanazawa Zoo revealed that asbestos-containing building materials (level 1 building materials*) were used during renovation work (scheduled for implementation from December to late March). In the future, we will conduct detailed surveys and prohibit access to areas around the passages of the koala building.
