NO.13 "The 34th Magaya Multicultural Community Festa" was held!

　On Sunday, November 19, the 34th Magaya Multicultural Community Festa was held. On the day of the event, a large number of visitors came and it was a great success.
　This event enjoys international exchange every year for residents, including foreigners. Last year, Hodogaya Ward formulated the "Hodogaya Ward Multicultural Community Development Plan" to promote community development that connects and supports diverse people and cultures to create a future. This festival was renamed "Hoshigaya Multicultural Symbiosis Festa" this year so that people from various countries and regions can connect and talk.
　On the day of the event, a "Japanese speech" was held by foreigners studying Japanese at the Magagaya International Lounge.
　In the Japanese speech, various thoughts were spoken from foreign residents, such as memories of travel destinations in Japan, stories about culture and sightseeing of their hometown, dreams that they want to fulfill in Japan, and episodes that touched on the kindness of Japanese people. Was Even in an unfamiliar environment, I was impressed by how hard I studied Japanese and worked hard to get used to Japanese life.

　In addition, activities such as playing in four countries around the world, including China and Vietnam, dressing in kimonos, making New Year decorations, introducing their own countries by international students from Yokohama National University, and selling ingredients and accessories from around the world were also very lively.

　From next year onwards, I hope you will enjoy interacting with various people through this event! Thank you very much to all the volunteers who worked hard in the management.
