NO.22 Ambassador Michigami, who is stationed in Bulgaria, visited Hodogaya Ward!

　On Tuesday, March 19, Ambassador Hisashi Michigami of the Embassy of Japan in Bulgaria visited the Hodogaya Ward Government Building and held a round-table conference.
　Hodogaya Ward and the Republic of Bulgaria have signed a partner city agreement with the capital city of Sofia to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Hodogaya constituency system.
　At the meeting, the Ambassador introduced the history of exchanges between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Hodogaya Ward and the efforts of the ward based on the agreement.
　This year marks the 115th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bulgaria, the 85th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the 65th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations.
　Mr. Michigami said, "Hodogaya Ward and Sofia have a great exchange. I hope you will continue to do so in the future. ".
　As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the constituency system in 2027, we confirmed that we will further deepen our cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Bulgaria in the future.
